The WHEI NXT UK Women's Championship was a women's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by War Hawks Entertainment Inc. for their NXT UK brand. The title was unveiled on August 25, one week before the premire of the brand. Rhea Ripley was the final champion in her first reign.

The title was the primary women's championship of the NXT UK brand.

History[]

The championship was announced along with the other UK titles before the August 14, 2018 episode of WHEI 205 Live. When Ironman decided to bring in the NXT UK brand he decided that it, lke the other 4 brands, would get its own complete set of titles. This included the main UK Title, along with a television and tag team championship. It was later announced that an 8 woman tournament would be held off screen to crown the first champion. With the tournament concluding on the first episode of WHEI NXT UK.

The title will be featured on NXT UK exclusively and will not debut until the premire of the brand. As with the other UK titles, only wrestlers from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australlia, and New Zealand are eligable to compete for it, this is to avoid comparisons to the WWE European Championship.

Championship belt design[]

The title was unveiled on August 25, 2018, one week before the debut of NXT UK. As with the other Women's Championships, the title's design is almost identical to its male counterpart, with a few notable differences. The title is smaller to fit the champion better, while the strap is white. The centerplate is an irregular heptagonal shape, however instead of a large cut out of the WWE logo it features a relief based on the United Kingom royal coat of arms. With a lion and a horse (in place of the normal unicorn) on either side of a large shield, with banners above and below it. Atop the shield are the crown jewels. Unlike its male counterpart, the NXT logo is in the center of the shield rather than the WWE logo, however the banners still read "United Kingom Champion", with an additional banner just under the shield that reads "women's" to differentiate itself.

Like its counterparts on the other brand, the title features square side plates on either side, seperated by gold divider bars. Each side plate has a removable round section which can be replaced with the current champion's logo in leiu of a nameplate. The default sideplates feature a red globe with the WWE logo in the middle surrounded by diamonds.
