The WHEI Cruiserweight Television Championship was a professional wrestling world television championship created and promoted by War Hawks Entertainment Inc. It was defended on the cruiserweight-exclusive 205 Live brand. While it was a secondary championship it is considered different because it has a weight limit. It was created in Season 3 to be the secondary championship for the 205 Live brand. The innaugural champion was TJP.

The championship was contested in WHEI's cruiserweight division by wrestlers at a maximum weight of 205 lbs (93 kg). The final champion was Drew Gulak in his first reign.

History[]

The title was created in Season 3 when it was decided that 205 Live would be brought in for the cruiserweights in the game. Since there were so many that fall under that distinction it was decided that they deserved more than one championship to wrestle for. That was when this title, along with a tag team championship were introduced for the cruiserweights to wrestle for.

The championship was drafted to LWL when the champion, TJP was drafted there in Season 3. This was done because there are so many cruiserweights it's unfair to limit them to just Raw outside of 205 Live and it was decided that outside the cruiserweight exclusive show the cruiserweights would be allowed to appear on whatever show they were drafted to.

Championship belt design[]

The championship is designed similarly to the main cruiserweight championship, with a few noticable differences. For starters the most noticable difference is the strap is black rather than purple, with a hint of red toward the edges. The centerplate is also round rather than octagonal, but is otherwise the same save for the word "Television" between the words Cruiserweight and Champion.

The sideplates are also similar to the main cruiserweight championship, except the globes have a hint of red in the purple. Also, like most of the titles availble to the roster the sideplates can be removed and replaced with the champion's logo in lieu of a nameplate.

In Season 4, after going on a lengthy hiatus due to burn out, Ironman and Sherania retired 205 Live and its championships.
