The WHEI Universal Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship created and promoted by War Hawks Entertainment Inc. on the Raw brand. It is the fourth overall male tag team championship to exist for WHEI. It is one of three men's tag team championships for WHEI's roster alongside the WHEI World Tag Team Championship on the SmackDown brand and the LWL World Tag Team Championship on the LWL brand. The current champions are RK-Bro in their first reign both as a team and individuals.

The championship was established during the season 2 premire to be the tag team championship of the Raw brand after WWE brought back the brand split in real life. This had the side effect of the retiring the previously used WHEI World Tag Team Championship for good. Unlike the real life Raw Tag Team Championship this title does not follow the lineage of the original WWE Tag Team Championship starting its own lineage instead. The new SmackDown tag team titles were given that line instead.

On August 10, 2019, the title was unified with the LWL World Tag Team Championship. Retiring the latter title in the process.

History[]

The title was created at the onset of season two to be the tag team title of the Raw brand after the reintroduction of the brand split in real life. The previously used World Tag Team Titles were retired for good as a result as they had been retired in real life since 2010.

While the title is based of the real life championship that was renamed from the WWE Tag Team Championship, it does NOT follow that lineage. With the War Hawks deciding to let the title stand on its own merits instead.

For the revamp of their Universe mode, the name of the Championship was changed to the WHEI Universal Tag Team Championship so as to be in line with it world championship counterpart.

Title belt design[]

The championship is designed to be identical to 2010 version of the WWE Tag Team Championship, and subsequently the WHEI SmackDown Tag Team Championship. All three plates are circular and silver/white gold, with the centerplate having a pair of large roman style helmets placed back to back in the middle. With the WWE logo in small font near the top and "Tag Team Champions" near the bottom, each between the the helmets. The side plates are smaller with the outer plates having a smaller helmet and the inner plates having a stylized WWE logo on it. The strap is also red to reflect the fact that it is exclusive to the Raw brand.
